Gift Basket Dreamland is an online retailer of quality gift baskets.
The web site is a 100% original, full-fledged e-commerce solution built on Modx Content Management System and Foxycart shopping cart.
The inventory consists of several different gift basket categories. It was essential to have a web site that is easy to update as frequent discounts and special offers are promoted on daily bases.
Lot of time and effort went into creating an SEO friendly web e-commerce web site. Table-less coding practices with clear separation of style and content were used to even farther improve the SEO.
KandlesByKristen is a small online shop selling homemade soy candles.
Client requested an e-commerce solution to sell heer homemade soy candles. Foxycart has been chosen for a shopping cart and checkout solution. Site was required to accept credit and debit cards - PayPal Website Payment Pro has been chosen for the payment gateway.
Although the inventory was fairly small (50 items), the site has been developed with extension in mind. Therefore, everything is powered by PHP and MySQL database.
The web site layout is a modified pre-built template, with integrated Flash banner and some jQuery for added effects and enhanced user experience.
Lot of time and effort went into creating an SEO friendly web e-commerce web site. All articles were created to give users all information they need as well as to give the search engines optimal keyword density. Table-less coding practices with clear separation of style and content were used to even farther improve the SEO.
Beautiful! The site looks great and I could not be happier with the result.

Canaan Bible Chapel is located at Lake Ariel.
The site has been developed from scratch. All design is original, although client did provide a detailed description of required features. Lot of effort has been put into simplyfying the navigation through almost 40 pages of content. The site, although fairly static, does use some cool features to bring it to live, such as flv video player, XML MP3 audio player and Flash banner. Client did not need a full featured CMS, so the site has been hooked to Cushy CMS to allow updates of a few pages. Everything has been coded using PHP include statements for easy updates. Also, the site features automated background changes (based on a season) and an automated PHP photo gallery.
NOTE: The web site is finihed but not yet uploaded to client's server
Thanks again for everything. I've been hearing some horror stories about problems people had or are having getting a website done and I can't believe how competent and accommodating you are. Thanks so much
We got out last review in. They said: "love it! love it! LOVE IT!!"
Sharon, Canaan Bible Chapel
Heart52 is a small business selling medical jewelry.
An pre-built template was used for the main structure of the design, however it was heavily modified to meet the specific needs of the client. Client wanted a web site that would be presentable and easy to use. Lot of jQuery and Flash was used to integrate the 'bells and whistles' in order to draw user attention and make the web site memorable. At the same time, everything on the web site is designed with the purpose of the web site in mind - to make a sale.
NOTE: the web site also contains integrated shopping cart solution. This was not designed and developed by HomerunDesign
Thanks Pavol, It looks great. Nice job.

DVT Express is a premier courier service provider for NEPA and tri-state area.
An pre-built template was used for the main structure of the design, however it was heavily modified to meet the specific needs of the client. Lot of emphasis was placed on promoting client's new delivery service. For that, the "call for action" has been used throughout the web site in the form of static as well as animated banners. Most text came from client's old web site, but it was re-structured to be SEO friendly and new photographs were used to increase overall appeal of the web site as well as to promote client's services.
The web site is mostly a regular XHTML with CSS, however lot of php 'includes' were used to automate some repetitive elements and enable easier updates. Of course, Photoshop was used to create new graphics, or to touch-up artwork from the client's old web site.
Please note that the client did some major changes to font use and the fonts on client's current web site do not reflect the fonts used in the design HomerunDesign submitted
LiveBraveBeTheCure.org is a non-profit organization helping poor children in India.
This project has required a complete re-do of an existing web site. In the end, the client decided to use only images and text and have a brand new, original design made.
The design needed to be not only visually appealing, but also easily accessible. What started as small bits of PHP to automate some elements ended up a full scale PHP site with integrated MySql databases. A custom CMS was also coded, with integrated FCK editor for easy updates of selected pages. The underlying code structure is a clean XHTML with CSS styling. Site was also optimized for search engines.
It looks excellent. I am very pleased. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Ankit, LiveBraveBeTheCure.com
This project was based on a specific design provided by the client. Only minor design changes had to be made. Majority of work consisted of XHTML and CSS coding and optimizing
a small JavaScript script that was used for the roll-out navigation. Client was going for a complete minimalist look of the site, with easy navigation.
In addition to the coding and design, the site needed to be optimized for search engines.
Thank you so much for helping me with my site. It looks marvelous! You were a pleasure to work with! And I appreciated the speediness of your delivery!

This is my personal web site. I use it not only to display some personal information, but also as a test bed for some new ideas and coding.
The site is heavily PHP coded with implementation of several MySQL databases enabling to perform tasks such as randomizing elements, displaying certain features depending on user's input,
easy updating (Content Management System) as well as integration with CSS. The underlying code is table-less transitional XHTML with CSS styling.
The site was designed from scratch by yours truly, using mostly Photoshop and a bit of Illustrator. Site is also optimized for search engines.

This used to be my personal web site. It was a 100% original design, coded with tableless XHTML and CSS. It was my first fully developed web site and although it did not use any advanced features, it used valid transitional XHTML and CSS and was optimized for search engines.
web site no longer available
This was my first attempt to design a web site using 3D elements and effects. Lot of the images were rendered in 3ds Max and then placed into the design in Photoshop.
The final look was too crowded so I did not use the design after all, but it gave me a good lesson in incorporating 3D into web design.
Please note that the web site is not live, however you can see how it would have functioned by clicking "visit site now".
